Our students from PK through grade 4 recently had an unforgettable experience when Roaring Brook Nature Center paid a visit to our school! The excitement was palpable as students got to meet a variety of incredible creatures up close, including turtles, snakes, and even cockroaches.
This interactive program gave students the opportunity to learn about animal habitats and adaptations in a hands-on way. Roaring Brook educators shared fascinating insights into how animals use their unique body parts to gather and process information, helping them grow and survive in the wild. The students were captivated by the opportunity to see these amazing animals up close and to ask plenty of questions!
Mrs. Tallons' class, in particular, had a blast learning about how different creatures navigate their environments and respond to their surroundings. From the smooth shells of turtles to the slithering movements of snakes, each encounter sparked curiosity and excitement.
Thank you to Roaring Brook Nature Center for bringing the wonders of wildlife right to our school! It was a fantastic educational experience that left students more curious about the natural world around them. We can't wait for the next adventure!
